Red Cliffs Recreation Area is a Bureau of Land Management area in the Red Cliffs National Conservation Area, with dinosaur tracks in Jurassic-age sandstone along the Silver Reef and Red Reef East trails, Ancestral Puebloan structures at the Red Cliffs Archaeological Site via the Anasazi Trail, and the Red Reef Trail up Quail Creek. Day-use hours are sunrise to sunset, year-round; the Day Use Activity Pass is $5* per vehicle, paid with the Recreation.gov mobile app (cash or check also accepted, and America the Beautiful passes accepted). The BLM calls day-use parking extremely limited and expects it to be full on weekends, holidays and most spring and fall days. Access runs through two I-15 underpasses that restrict vehicle and trailer height to 11 feet 9 inches; the BLM directs travelers heading north from St. George to exit 22 and those heading south from Cedar City to exit 23.
