Visits are by guided tour during open season. Exotic-animal sanctuary, open for the season May to October only. Four ways in: general admission Thursdays and Fridays 1-5 p.m. with docents on the grounds; staff-guided tours Saturdays and Sundays at 11 a.m., 12 and 1 p.m. (1.5 hours); an Enrichment Tour on Saturdays at 3 p.m. that includes feeding and enrichment for big cats, bears and primates, for which the sanctuary advises consideration for under-5s and the faint-hearted; and Toddlers & Tots on Fridays at 11 a.m. (about an hour, paved paths, strollers and wagons allowed). Every option on the site is presented with an online booking link, but the sanctuary does not state whether walk-ins are accepted - confirm on (260) 636-7383 before publishing 'reservation required'. Guided tours only - the centre states 'We only offer guided tours, guests are not allowed to walk the grounds unescorted.' Tours run every day at 10 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. and last about an hour on outdoor gravel paths. No reservation is needed for parties under 10; groups of 10 or more, and all organisations, schools and youth groups, must reserve on 812-835-1130 during opening hours. Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Day and New Year's Eve and Day. Tour times do not apply on fundraiser days (Spring Fling, Summer Safari, Fall Fest).
